F100 90s tour 2020: Rounds two and three race day information
Welcome All To Rounds Two & Three Of The 2020 F100 Tour
It’s a great pleasure to return to Cumbria again to one of the country’s best circuits with its tight hairpins that lead onto a long straight & fast sweeping curves, this track never fails to provide some of the best racing on the calendar.
Round 2 on Sunday will be designated “The Fiona Topliss Memorial Cup” in memory of our dear friend Fiona. We are honoured with the presence of her family and spirit with us this weekend in one of their most favourite holiday destinations, The Lake District. Join us in taking a moment to remember Fiona on Sunday and feel free to share your fondest memories with Alister and Andy.
Round One provided some thrills, a few spills, and some new Championship leaders that have shuffled the order and left us all craving for more. Francis Stewart & Dayle Matthews (O-Plate Champ) lead Pre 2000 & Pre 2000 Heavy, with current Pre 95 Open Champion Jade Goodwin leading the Pre 95 class. Mark Bennett also fronts up the Pre89 Class.
Daniel Collier heads up Classic TKM from Ry Leon providing some amazing TKM Racing to get the season off to a cracking start. We can’t wait to see these guys dicing again all the away through their races.
Ty Stansfield returned to winning ways in the Aqua Lite class, with Thomas Massarella stating his intentions on the Aqua Heavy class. Mitchell McLeod also has a successful day and came away from Lydd leading in Aqua Ultra.
The Driver Of The Day Award was a very popular choice, that saw Francis Stewart’s efforts & past sacrifices finally rewarded.
The Covid situation is still with us, and as we are guests of CKRC, let’s all look after one another and follow the instructions and guidelines given to us by Malcolm and Marion.
Yours in Sport
